My IVF Journey 

I have experienced my own difficult path through infertility and the personal dark times that can follow IVF treatment especially without the family I was hoping. 

I was unprepared for the impact that this would have for me personally and for my partner after the process ended and the counselling stopped. 

My experience was stressful, lonely, and isolating and I became physically ill as my body, mind and soul tried to process it all. 

My Experience

I knew I didn’t want to be defined by my infertility. 

I found my own pathway through the loss and grief, my broken hopes and dreams of becoming a parent to find release and to live a fulfilled and happy life. 

Not only have I come to terms with a life without children, but I have regained my joy, discovered the opportunities not having children brings, and I am thriving beyond IVF!

Now I want to help others like me to feel joy and freedom after IVF and infertility.

My Name

I am proud of the name for my business! 

“Elm” stands for Explore, Let go, Move forwards which reflects my offer and my unique technique of support; “Bloom” because this is what I believe you can do beyond infertility. 

Nature constantly inspires me and connection to it reminds us of the cycles and seasons, the ebb and flow of life. The Elm is an ancient tree that symbolises life, creativity, and inner strength – no better way to sum up my offer! 

The Elm represents intuition and wisdom which is what I bring to my work. 

  Finally, the Elm reflects what I believe you can be – strongly rooted in who you are, standing tall in the present, and branching out with a vision for the future.
